Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering fields such as Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering)
- Familiarity with manufacturing and quality processes, including documentation
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Willingness to work off shifts, overtime, and nonstandard work weeks as required to meet product delivery schedules
Responsibilities
- Apply quality principles in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and research and development as they apply to product or process quality
- Conduct technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to address quality-related issues and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Participate in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Develop strategies and systems aimed at enhancing internal and supplier performance and productivity
- Assess quality systems for deficiencies, identify issues, and implement corrections
- Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conduct product quality tests and perform statistical analyses to address materials or products that fail to meet required standards
- Engage in the supplier selection process and maintain certification programs
