Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, or 3 years with a related masters degree
- Extensive knowledge in Python and modern C++ programming
- Experience in system software engineering, especially with AI-first systems
- Familiarity with AI/ML development and managing data pipelines
- Proficient in developing and deploying software for mission systems within the Department of Defense (DoD) domain
Responsibilities
- Engage in every stage of the software/system development lifecycle including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, testing, and integration
- Develop simulation environments utilizing STAR.OS
- Contribute to all phases of low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) research, proof of concepts, and rapid prototyping
- Transition prototypes to production for widespread use across the enterprise and field applications
- Collaborate with innovative teams to enhance solutions from initial concepts to operational deployment
- Gain exposure to the latest advancements in AI, including generative AI and reinforcement learning (RL)
