Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to possess an active security clearance with a polygraph.
- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is necessary; however, four years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
- I expect a minimum of twenty years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts that reflect similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Proficiency in Python and recent experience with C++ are essential.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and GIT is required.
- A foundational understanding of RF concepts is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance criteria.
- You will make recommendations to enhance documentation and standards for software development processes.
- Your role includes designing and coding new software or modifying existing applications to introduce new features.
- Integrating existing software into new or modified systems or environments is also part of your duties.
- You will engage in designing, developing, and modifying software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and assess outcomes and the effects of design choices.
- Implementing complex algorithms that adhere to strict timing, system resources, or interface constraints is a requirement; you will also perform quality control on team outputs.
- Collaboration with system and hardware engineers to gather software requirements and information on project limitations, performance criteria, and interfaces will be essential.
- You will ensure the quality control of all developed or modified software.
- Proposing new technologies and processes for complex software projects is part of the job.
