Requirements
Must:
- You must possess an active security clearance with a polygraph.
- You should have at least fourteen (14) years of experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required; four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- You must comply with DoD 8570.01-M as an IASAE Level 2 and hold a CISSP Certification.
- A full understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and procedures is necessary.
- Experience with NIST 800-53 security control implementation and self-testing is required.
- Experience with System Security Plans and Information System Certification and Accreditation processes is desired.
Responsibilities
- You will participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
- You will apply your knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) policy and procedures to design, develop, and implement secure environments.
- Engaging with customers and collaborating with project team members is required.
- You will support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management, identifying overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data.
- You will perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, with varying data protection/classification requirements, and recommend system-level solutions to meet security requirements.
