Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or comparable distributions
- Previous Help Desk or technical customer service experience
- Tier 2 troubleshooting expertise
- Security+ Certification (or equivalent DoD 8140 certification) required prior to the start date
- Current Active Top Secret clearance required at start; must possess the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, local engineers, and a geographically dispersed team to ensure GVS systems function effectively according to contractual obligations
- Conduct system maintenance activities, including security scans, software patching, and troubleshooting of operational issues
- Assist customers in resolving issues and responding to inquiries about GVS capabilities and services
- Provide regular on-call support outside of 6 am - 6 pm, requiring physical access to the Herndon DEP II facility
- Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance as part of job requirements
