Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in shipboard maintenance or related military/civilian technical training considered.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal communication skills, able to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work overtime and on shifts, including weekends, as directed by management.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a SECRET level Security Clearance.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Aegis system components and operational improvements.
- Experience with equipment dispositions and Lab setups (Rack & Stack).
- Understanding of cable block diagrams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Lockheed Martin tools.
- Experience in property management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary Technician/Integration member on the SSDS program within the AFMS technical support team.
- Oversee and coordinate the installation, removal, and modification of hardware.
- Provide multilevel team support for the integration of existing and new lab equipment configurations.
- Collaborate with software support teams, test operations personnel, and engineering design groups as needed.
- Adapt to varied shifts and accommodate weekend overtime as required.
