Requirements
Must:
- DoD Final SECRET Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelors degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field with 9 years of experience or 7 years with a graduate degree
- Proven experience in Software Development and Systems Engineering or similar fields
- Extensive background in authoring Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Interface Design Documents (IDDs), and requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a skilled team in developing software designs and evaluating systems engineering outputs while following established plans
- Direct experience with requirements management tools, such as Jama, IBM DOORS, Polarion, or Azure
- Engagement in verification and validation activities including test plan development and test case management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, with leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary software technical liaison between Regional Applications teams and Systems Engineering, overseeing system engineering-related tasks
- Coordinate software update initiatives related to end-to-end systems engineering, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Conduct requirements flow analysis and provide expert guidance in verification and validation processes and test events
- Lead the disciplined approach in software development focusing on system capability definition and analysis
- Support the integration of systems engineering-focused best practices within the software development lifecycle
