Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience working on a Space or Missile system project
- Experience in various Systems Engineering roles, including:
- System Trade studies and/or System modeling
- Development of System architecture or CONOPS
- Creation of Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD)
- Involvement in System Integration, Testing, and/or Verification
- Conducting Design reviews
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation abilities
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge or background in systems engineering from prior projects
- Familiarity or proficiency with Cameo and DOORS
- Basic understanding of systems thinking principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) on projects
- Experience in scripting modifications and developments for generating requirements, verification plans, and pertinent program documentation
- Familiarity with ePDM and change management processes
- Skill in articulating and documenting solutions for complex challenges to senior management and various internal/external stakeholders
- Experience in designing and testing space segments
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the systematic and logical transformation of customer or product requirements into comprehensive systems solutions
- Develop system architecture and CONOPS, perform trade studies, and analyze to translate architecture into requirements and interfaces, and assist with verification planning
- Employ outstanding communication skills to collaborate across the Lockheed Martin organization and customer/user communities to achieve consensus and understanding of solutions
- Utilize advanced Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (Cameo) and practices to create synergistic models that link verification artifacts and requirements
