Systems Engineer, Lab Operations Manager

- Schedule system downtime for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. - Ensure compliance with operating procedures, security standards, and lab regulations among users. - Maintain and update procedural documents, standards, and rules. - Coordinate lab installations, modifications, upgrades, and hardware tracking related to power, cooling, and grounding. - Collaborate with facilities for upgrade requests and installations by initiating Facilities Service Requests (FSR). - Manage coordination of outside contractors within classified environments and ensure completion of FSRs. - Assist with future lab planning and coordination of personnel and assets for facilities. - Schedule and coordinate lab maintenance, including troubleshooting, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks. - Assign tickets via JIRA to designated points of contact for lab operations. - Schedule lab cleaning and downtime, address cable management, and ensure space organization and safety compliance. - Support program storage solutions for parts, monitor remotely stored inventory, and manage ready spares. - Coordinate lab shutdown and startup processes in response to natural disasters and scheduled or unscheduled power outages.
