Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 1 year of systems engineering experience
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Knowledge or background in systems engineering, particularly in testing and problem solving for integrated systems
- Experience in developing and executing test plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to comprehend extensive technical details and propose solutions
- Experience with OPIR and/or SBIRS mission processing and vehicle pre-launch testing is a plus
- Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems and knowledge of DOORS and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships among peers and manage team dynamics
- Demonstrated systems thinking abilities to solve problems and implement beneficial changes
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and attend meetings, design reviews, and oversight boards
- Conduct technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation processes
- Ensure that customer requirements are systematically documented in contractual files
- Contribute to program planning to guarantee that requirements and statements of work are outlined and scheduled accordingly
