Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Proven project management capabilities, including cost and schedule oversight and proficiency in multitasking under tight deadlines
- Willingness to work shifts and travel, including trips to Colorado Springs and Denver, as well as occasional out-of-state assignments
- Active or current Final Top-Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with Satellite Launch and Early Orbit Test planning and execution or daily operations in the OPIR domain is preferred
- Background in managing or leading technical and operational teams on Department of Defense programs is advantageous
- Highly organized, proactive individual with innovative thinking skills and the ability to function independently as well as collaboratively to meet objectives
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is desired
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide technical and project leadership initiatives
- Assess and nurture talent in alignment with Lockheed Martins Human Resources practices, focusing on team leads and individual contributors
- Manage workforce planning and execution, ensuring the right talent is assigned to programs and projects within budget boundaries; forecast staffing necessities
- Communicate company information professionally and promptly across relevant parties
- Enforce adherence to company and governmental policies and regulations
- Develop and oversee employee performance evaluations, compensation adjustments, and promotions in line with Lockheed Martins policies
