Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience; or a Masters degree with over 1 year of experience.
- Proficient in Linux Server Administration (RedHat or SLES) or in Windows Server and Desktop OS.
- Must possess or be able to obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance prior to employment and a Special Access Program security clearance shortly thereafter.
- U.S. citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- DoD IAT Level II certification (such as Sec+ CE) is strongly preferred.
- Experience in shell scripting for task scheduling and automation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with VMWare/ESXi, VSphere, and Hyper-V for automated configurations and updates.
- Proficiency in Ansible tools and Agile project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Excel, as well as the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence) and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).
Responsibilities
- Conduct hardware and software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on various IT components.
- Oversee system integrity, availability, and cyber compliance for networked systems.
- Contribute to the development of solutions by designing, integrating, implementing, and providing support across system components.
- Engage in all stages of software and hardware development, utilizing DevOps engineering processes and conducting related engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues across programs while working within cross-functional Agile teams.
