Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Engineering preferred), or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Proficient in interpreting or generating drawings, schematics, specifications, and/or standards.
- Familiar with any programming language application and/or fundamental software skills (C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.).
- Knowledgeable in using common test equipment (Power Supplies, DMMs, O-Scopes, DAQs, etc.).
- Acquainted with test consoles and automated testing apparatus.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze specification and requirements documents to create test procedures for functional and environmental assessments of Engineering, Flight, and Qualification Hardware.
- Assist in Subsystem Level testing encompassing environmental evaluations such as vibration, shock, EMI, thermal, and thermal vacuum.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair testing systems.
- Oversee the hardware and software product lifecycle, involving debugging, integration testing, and maintenance support.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze and validate test data while identifying and verifying any anomalies or successes.
- Utilize programming language applications and basic software skills to aid in troubleshooting tasks.
