Requirements
Must:
- Experience in system or subsystem-level testing
- Willingness to work extended hours, off-shifts, and weekends as necessary
- Current LM Certified Test Conductor (CTC) certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Practical expertise with Automation Frameworks (preferred)
- Engineering knowledge in test discipline—particularly in error prevention, safety, controls logic, data acquisition, and instrumentation (preferred)
- Experience with lab, ground, or flight hardware systems or supporting tests for aerospace platforms (preferred)
- Skills in COTS equipment integration, mechanical/electronic troubleshooting, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) (preferred)
- Familiarity with Test & Measurement Equipment (T&ME) and industry best practices (preferred)
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting with periodic alternate shift work and travel (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, review, and implementation of thorough test plans, procedures, and timelines for both subsystems and complete systems.
- Manage the integration of internally developed, COTS, and GOTS components and systems.
- Resolve hardware and software interface challenges and define system input/output parameters.
- Conduct testability assessments, system evaluations, and regression tests.
- Analyze testing outcomes, prepare comprehensive evaluation reports, and confirm performance compliance.
- Document discrepancies and monitor issue resolution throughout integration cycles.
- Set functional and technical specifications alongside testing standards.
- Coordinate testing efforts across various programs, laboratories, and partner organizations.
- Assist in lab, ground, and flight testing of intricate aerospace systems.
