Requirements
Must:
- Experience providing technical guidance and support across various disciplines
- Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to ensure project success
- Proficient knowledge of complex missile or launch vehicle systems along with associated subsystems (Electronics, Structures, Controls, Propulsion, Initiation, Reentry, etc.)
- Basic understanding of missile or launch vehicle assembly
- Familiarity with support equipment and operational practices for missiles or launch vehicles
- Strong grasp of systems engineering principles
- Experience in problem investigation methods, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective actions
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the FBM program and 3 years in LM Space
- Secret clearance required at the start with the capacity to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead with comprehensive knowledge of D5LE missile systems and validate compliance with LE product certifications at the system level
- Ensure the technical integrity of the missile while accounting for cost and schedule constraints
- Guide and mentor a multidisciplinary group (structures, propulsion, guidance, avionics, etc.) to provide cohesive missile solutions
- Engage in problem-solving efforts, contribute to test plans, and participate in flight-test execution; evaluate test data and implement corrective measures
- Align technical requirements with facility and fleet operational activities
- Collaborate with program management, clients, and certification authorities to guarantee adherence to FBM LE program standards
- Generate technical documentation, risk assessments, and progress reports for leadership and external stakeholders
- Assist the FBM Chief Engineer/Executive CPE in coordinating and integrating with missile product RSEs/CPEs and Delegates for LE
