Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and test/repair procedures.
- Understanding of policies and procedures concerning the control of Government Property.
- Familiarity with industry standards and military specifications.
- Capability to lift 35 pounds.
- Experience working with hazardous materials.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and track repairs, retrofitting, and upgrades at both organic and sub-vendor facilities.
- Act as the main logistics contact, providing updates to customers on sustainment status and repair advancements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of the sustainment lifecycle, covering concept through to disposal.
- Perform studies on interface, timelines, risk/cost evaluations, and supportability; generate verification and effectiveness reports.
- Manage U.S. Government spares inventories and advise on procurement strategies.
- Create and revise Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliverables, Weapon System Sustainment plans, and scheduling documents.
- Support fault isolation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of various subsystems.
- Record repair processes and outcomes in maintenance data systems, adhering to program requirements.
- Provide technical insights on electro-mechanical components to enhance reliability and fleet readiness.
- Engage in limited supply tasks, including the handling of assets from shipping containers.
- Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials, utilizing proper PPE and complying with FOD/ESD, QA, and security guidelines.
