Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in structural analysis of primary and secondary airframe structures
- Proficient in analyzing both metallic and composite materials
Responsibilities
- Assist with F-16 Production and F-22 Sustainment Material Review Board repairs to ensure compliance with necessary strength standards
- Conduct stress analysis on metallic and composite materials, sizing components and evaluating the integrity of aircraft structures and systems
- Certify new and existing designs through strength analysis, releasing relevant drawings, and drafting analysis reports
- Analyze and compare structural efficiency and weight across various arrangements and concepts through trade studies
- Contribute to the development of structural test requirements, including load predictions and expected outcomes
