Requirements
Must:
- Active DoD SECRET Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Previous experience with Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) environments working with real-time embedded systems
- Proficient in C/C++ (version 11 or newer)
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environments
- Expertise in integrating hardware and software solutions
- Hands-on experience in real-time software generation, particularly related to hardware testing or embedded systems
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas to support integration efforts (desired)
- Familiarity with low-level software development and device drivers (desired)
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams (desired)
- Masters degree or higher in a relevant field (desired)
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full software development life cycle (desired)
- Experience with Git, GitLab, and JIRA (desired)
- Knowledge of VxWorks (desired)
- Agile methodology experience, particularly Scrum (desired)
- Understanding of integrating closed-loop systems (desired)
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and unit testing (desired)
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software solutions for real-time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop environments
- Create embedded software using C/C++ (version 11 or higher)
- Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Organize and execute software development activities
- Design, build, document, test, and debug software that solves business or mission problems using data processing techniques
- Utilize knowledge of computer hardware and software to tailor solutions for business applications
- Fix program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation regarding program development, and analyze system capabilities to clarify programming intent and requirements
