Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in systems engineering, specifically within requirements generation, concept development, analysis, and simulation.
- Strong leadership skills in guiding technical teams within a complex engineering setting.
- Ability to engage effectively with technical stakeholders and manage associated documentation and baselines.
- Expert in preparing and presenting technical briefings and engineering deliverables.
- Solid project management abilities with a focus on task monitoring, scheduling, scope, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in numerical modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and high-level programming languages like MATLAB or Python.
- Understanding of modeling and analyzing M&S for integrated missile defense systems, including various subsystems such as EO/IR sensors, RF/Radar sensors, and command and control systems.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly through papers, presentations, and conversations, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a performance analyst to develop, benchmark, and utilize mid-level fidelity simulations based on first principles physics for comprehensive analysis and requirements development.
- Conduct analyses to support the integration of multi-phenomenology sensors and battle management command control & communications.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the technical integrity of performance requirements and analysis outputs.
- Facilitate the enhancement of Model-Based Systems Engineering capabilities to intertwine analytical modeling with performance specifications.
- Represent the Systems Engineering and Integration Team to the Missile Defense Agency and stakeholders during reviews and technical discussions.
