Requirements
Must:
- Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, with the capability to maintain this certification throughout employment
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for employment at this facility (No dual citizenship accepted)
- Top Secret level security clearance required
- Ability to lift, move, rack, and install physical equipment up to 50 lbs independently
- Profound knowledge in technical leadership, Linux server, Windows server, storage, and network management
- Extensive experience with IT system engineering in both virtual and physical environments, focusing on Windows but with a necessary understanding of RHEL systems
- Strong familiarity with TCP/IP, IT security principles, and cost estimation
- Proactive mindset, excellent customer relationship management skills, and capability to work autonomously as well as within a larger technical team
- Experience with network-attached storage or storage area networks
Responsibilities
- Design, estimate, order, track, install, configure, secure, harden, remediate, test, upgrade, and decommission data center equipment, network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations, and network-attached storage
- Provide application support to program engineers, ensuring a successful integration between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure
- Oversee the ongoing operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments
- Manage, control, and ensure compliance of Space IT systems with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
