Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering field or relevant experience
- Proven ability to lead teams in executing established procedures
- Prior experience in testing
- Skilled in a high-level scripting language (Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.) for automated test script development, troubleshooting, and execution
- 5 years of experience in an engineering discipline (desired)
- Familiarity with Space Vehicle Integration and Test Programs as a Test Conductor
- Knowledge of electrical test equipment, such as bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and signal generators
- Background in Space Vehicle Test Operations, including test development, execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution
- Strong technical writing, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
Responsibilities
- Lead systems integration and oversee test execution
- Develop and review test artifacts
- Manage execution of both subsystem and system-level tests
- Document test outcomes and any discrepancies
- Drive resolution of test anomalies and troubleshooting efforts
- Collaborate with diverse groups to create test plans and procedures, considering technical, schedule, and budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with functional and technical specifications
- Assist in resolving hardware/software interface issues
- Guarantee complete system or subsystem integration through test product execution
- Coordinate testing activities with support organizations
- Conduct impromptu presentations on test status or discrepancies to customers or program management
- Operate within a dynamic production environment, potentially requiring 24/7 support and travel for full lifecycle operations
