Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited institution, or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience
- Proficient in C and/or C++ programming
- Familiarity with Linux or real-time operating systems (RTOS) and relevant development toolchains
- Experience with the software development lifecycle in a collaborative setting (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
- Proven track record in mentoring and developing junior engineers
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete software lifecycle development for various avionics services, ground station development, and mission system software technologies
- Contribute to the development of ground station capabilities for both manned and unmanned systems
- Create simulations that facilitate software development processes
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers to establish requirements for quick prototyping
- Engage in integration and testing activities
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of vital integration and milestone events
