Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar capacity, focusing on Oracle EPM applications
- Solid understanding of IT principles, including software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and IT service management
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and critical thinking capabilities
- Knowledge of cloud-based EPM solutions, especially Oracle EPM Cloud, including FCC and/or TRCS (preferred)
- Certification in Oracle EPM products or related technologies (preferred)
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies like Scrum or Kanban (preferred)
- Experience within a large, complex organization with various stakeholders and priorities (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, prioritize features, and ensure Oracle EPM applications align with business objectives
- Manage the product build, backlog, and requirements documentation
- Coordinate with IT business analysts and developers, along with professional services, to achieve product objectives
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and the product management team to gauge their requirements
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to facilitate smooth transitions between teams and comprehend cross-team implications
- Provide clear oversight and scope guidance to a team of analysts and developers to meet user satisfaction
- Ensure the output of the team is of high quality and reliability
- Prioritize tasks in the Product Backlog to effectively reach our goals and mission
- Maintain visibility and clarity of the Product Backlog for all team members regarding future work
- Ensure the Development Team comprehends the backlog items at the required level
- Maximize the value drawn from the work performed by the Development Team
- Engage with leadership to provide status updates and address risks/issues for prompt resolution
- Guide the ongoing maintenance of our Oracle EPM Financial Consolidation & Close and Tax Reporting Cloud Service applications
