Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software development
- Proficient in full-stack development and testing, including microservices and web applications
- Experience in object-oriented design and development with C#, .NET, or Java
- Skilled in web design using ReactJS
- Familiarity with implementing software patterns for complex systems
- Strong analytical abilities, capable of simplifying complex problems collaboratively
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, particularly in Agile environments
- Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development process within a microservices container orchestrated architecture using Kubernetes in a DevOps setting
- Oversee the full development lifecycle of the Mission Planning Environment (MPE) team
- Ensure effective communication of software strategy, design, and implementation
- Actively participate in developing innovative solutions that align with company objectives
- Guide projects to completion with minimal supervision, influencing organizational direction
- Enforce robust software architectural principles such as modularity and extensibility
- Engage in end-to-end integration activities and analyze user requirements
- Implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards
- Recommend new technologies and processes to enhance software quality and control
- Mentor and lead software development teams to uphold high standards of technical excellence
