Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a relevant Masters degree.
- Strong proficiency in RF modeling and simulation.
- Knowledge of RF/Microwave board design, cable design, construction techniques, and shielding, as well as material selection.
- Expertise in RF measurement methods and equipment.
- Proven ability to develop RF/Microwave design documentation to meet all customer requirements.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary development teams with a demonstrated capability to manage cost and scheduling.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct RF/Microwave analysis, design solutions, and troubleshoot development issues across various platforms.
- Contribute to technical planning, system design, and requirements allocation, along with detailed trade studies and design verification.
- Support top-level architecture design and mission planning, ensuring thorough requirements decomposition and traceability.
- Oversee the development and refinement of RF designs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and providers of various subsystem products and technologies.
- Provide manufacturing support for RF that includes assembly, testing, and design of automated test systems.
- Execute cascade analysis, modeling, simulations, troubleshooting, and tests of multiple RF subsystems, circuits, and components.
- Be a self-sufficient RF Hardware Design Engineer capable of working independently to determine solution approaches and leading a team through complete design cycles.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, various business areas, and customers to convey project status and outcomes.
