Requirements
Must:
- A BS and/or MS in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or similar)
- Extensive hardware development experience
- Proven capability to work independently
- Must obtain and maintain a DOD Security clearance
- Outstanding communication skills with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly with complex systems
- Experience leading small teams for technical execution and collaborating with program/functional management to achieve program objectives
- Cross-functional or integrated product team leadership experience (desired)
- Experience with cost account management (CAM) (desired)
- Familiarity with earned value management and tracking practices (desired)
Responsibilities
- Guide technical and programmatic aspects of the radar design team
- Conduct thorough trade studies, develop architectures, and perform technical analysis while ensuring quality and proper engineering methodologies are implemented
- Collaborate with First Line Managers to allocate resources for programs
- Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to tackle technical issues and assist in program planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in achieving program goals
