Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in network engineering within classified or Department of Defense environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Direct experience with network security tools, firewalls, encryption devices, and secure system hardening.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN), along with routing, switching, and fabric technologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMWare and Kubernetes.
- Current Security+ and CCNA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions in classified settings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance network performance and reliability.
- Utilize DevSecOps principles to automate network processes and streamline operations.
- Monitor network security and quickly address vulnerabilities and threats.
- Document network configurations and operations in compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members on network-related issues.
