Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Mechatronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
- Over 6 years of experience in Aerospace/Defense or a related field, potentially supplemented by further education or training
- Proven expertise in Systems Integration
- Hands-on experience supporting Flight Test operations
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis (FATMOPS, MATLAB, Tableau, Python, Windows applications, Windows Platforms)
- Valid government security clearance is required; an active Secret clearance with an investigation conducted within the last 5 years is necessary
Responsibilities
- Lead, organize, and contribute to real-time activities during flight test execution
- Manage a small team focused on the technical planning and integration of test requirements into operational plans
- Execute flight tests from a mission control room utilizing telemetered data
- Collaborate with AFFTC and NAWCAD engineers in the creation of flight test plans and safety protocols
- Engage in the development of flight test cards and conduct briefs and debriefs
- Report problems, mitigate risks, and collect and analyze flight test data for verification, validation, risk, and supportability assessments
- Interact with the Verification Team and Discipline Integrated Product Teams based in Fort Worth, TX
- Participate actively in problem identification and resolution through system defect report generation and data analysis
- Assist in the dissemination of collected data from flight test missions for both our operations and other involved organizations
