Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or equivalent experience combined with education.
- A minimum of 20 years of professional experience with recognized expertise in the field.
- Must hold the necessary security clearance and polygraph as required for the position.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management and lifecycle oversight.
- Familiarity with Rancher and RKE2 implementations.
- Proficient in control-plane configuration and troubleshooting, and worker-node automation.
- Understanding of high-availability cluster configurations and relevant networking concepts.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles, including GitOps and pipeline management.
- Advanced Linux experience (RHEL/Rocky/EL9).
- Proficient in Ansible, including playbook design and role development.
- Development and scripting proficiency in Python and Bash; knowledge of Go is desirable.
- Experience with software testing methodologies, especially unit testing.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with RF data processing and application development.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-faceted mission-critical system development, deployment, and ongoing evolution.
- Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for applications written in C++ or Python.
- Manage and configure Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Identify and resolve software defects using effective debugging techniques.
- Optimize GPU resources for high-performance applications utilizing CUDA or similar technologies.
- Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts, utilizing tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software alignment with user requirements and timely delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs and processes to ensure knowledge continuity and project oversight.
