Requirements
Must:
- Experience in navigation systems (such as EGI, GPS, RNP/RNAV, Terrain Avoidance, Radio Navigation, Traffic Collision Avoidance, etc.)
- Comprehensive systems engineering experience including system architecture, design, documentation, requirements, CONOPS, and verification
- Proven track record in integrating and testing both hardware and software
- Strong capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field from an accredited institution
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, integration, and verification of advanced navigation solutions for aerospace systems
- Define and enhance navigation system architectures, including GNSS, INS, and Sensor Fusion methods (such as Kalman filtering and Bayesian approaches)
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including software developers, suppliers, program managers, and customers to align technical solutions with project objectives
- Capture, track, and validate system requirements utilizing DOORS or equivalent tools, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and customer specifications
- Contribute to system design and requirements development, ensuring compatibility of architectures, interfaces, and behaviors with customer and program demands
- Identify, analyze, and rectify software and system-level defects to maintain operational readiness and reliability
