Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Sonar Operator or Tactical Systems Technician
- Proven ability to test and verify system operations
- Demonstrated capability to adhere to procedures for operating and testing tactical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for computer equipment
- Experienced problem solver
- Familiarity with Linux operating system
- Proficient in using Microsoft Windows and Office applications for everyday tasks
- Willingness and ability to travel (up to 10%)
- Eligible for a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Validate system performance and capabilities for production and advanced development
- Create and develop test procedures
- Validate system requirements and ensure compliance
- Address and resolve system issues promptly
- Guide the software build to achieve a successful Factory Acceptance Test
- Collaborate with the Government Test Team to coordinate testing plans for the program/build
- Maintain the operational status of the tactical system
- Independently travel to tactical sites as required (up to 10% of the time)
