Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in OpenText ECM/Content Server focusing on xECM for SAP.
- Proven track record with at least one complete SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Deep expertise in ABAP, OScript, and OpenText Content Server Webreports and Live Reports.
- Proficient in configuring xECM Categories, Attributes, and Business Workspaces.
- Capability to write custom scripts for advanced scenarios without relying solely on OScript.
- Understanding of Archive Center, Enterprise Scan, and Document Pipeline.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Extensive hands-on experience with OpenText Content Server architecture and its installation, configuration, administration, and workflow management.
- Experience in developing storage strategies for OpenText utilizing file system and cloud options (such as RISE/AWS).
- Knowledge of volume management, backup, disaster recovery, and archiving strategies for active content.
- Strong experience integrating OpenText with SAP through ArchiveLink and Extended ECM for SAP, along with familiarity with SAP content repositories.
- Hands-on experience with OpenText OScript, WebReports, REST APIs/Web Services, as well as a working knowledge of Java/JavaScript for extensions.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and hands-on configuration of OpenText xECM versions 16.x/20.x/22.x/24.x integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
- Oversee expert-level administration of OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, and OpenText Directory Services.
- Develop custom ABAP code, function modules, and backend scripts for effective document management and workflow automation.
- Implement Business Workspaces, ArchiveLink, and Smart UI to ensure seamless integration between SAP objects and xECM.
- Integrate OpenText with SAP S/4HANA utilizing ArchiveLink, Extended ECM for SAP, and SAP DMS as necessary.
- Transform intricate business requirements into detailed technical blueprints and functional specifications.
- Optimize processes related to content lifecycle management including version control and records management in compliance with policies.
- Lead the configuration of Content Server, managing users, groups, permissions, metadata models, and categories.
- Formulate and execute storage architecture, encompassing volume strategies, archiving, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructures for OpenText landscapes.
- Offer architectural insight regarding security, compliance, and retention policies.
- Direct unit testing and integration testing (UAT), providing support post-go-live.
