Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a STEM field from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in C++ or Java programming
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Skills in hardware troubleshooting and/or software debugging
- Familiarity with software integration, debugging, and system-level testing
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Competence in scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Knowledge of aircraft or mission-system software development processes is advantageous
- Experience with simulated environments and hardware-in-the-loop testing
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and debug software across various platforms including aircraft flight software and simulated mission systems
- Maintain and manage CI/CD pipelines to guarantee reliable software builds
- Provide support for virtual development labs and aircraft software procedures
- Design and implement automation tools utilizing open-source, commercial, and proprietary solutions
- Engage in agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint reviews, and technical demonstrations
