Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline
- Proficient in software development using C++
- Experience in software development on Linux
- Familiarity with real-time software development and integration
- Exposure to Real-Time Operating Systems
- Knowledge of automated testing practices
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
- Background in software integration within hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop simulation settings
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and tools like VersionOne and Jira
- Passion for airborne systems, particularly fighter aircraft and airplanes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated work ethic and self-motivation
- Active access to the F-35 program
Responsibilities
- Design and sustain real-time distributed simulation software for aircraft and associated support systems
- Integrate and debug simulation software in hardware-in-the-loop and man-in-the-loop testing environments
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support Digital Transformation projects
- Conduct verification and validation processes to ensure software aligns with program specifications
- Provide expert guidance and documentation related to software integration activities
