Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline
- Proven expertise in at least one modern programming language such as C++, C, C#, or Java (preferably C++)
- Familiarity with languages and technologies including Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience working in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environment
- Proficient with Git Version Control System
- Background in software development on Linux platforms
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Experience automating tasks with Ansible
- Familiarity with Vue JavaScript (VueJS)
- Experience in domains such as flight simulation, aerodynamic modeling, weapons systems, avionics, electronic warfare, or radar
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an integrated product team consisting of Hardware, Software, Systems, and Test Engineers to support the upkeep and enhancement of Air Force Flight Simulators
- Design and implement software solutions for flight simulation systems
- Integrate innovative technologies into existing systems
- Conduct requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing of real-time software
