Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Mechanical/Electrical/Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - Formal education or certification in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is highly desirable. - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, or maintaining complex systems/products utilizing Model Based Engineering methodologies. - Proven experience with Cameo Systems Modeler / Cameo Enterprise Architecture in practical projects (e.g., aerospace, defense, automotive, or intricate electronics). - In-depth knowledge of SysML (requirements, behavior, structure, parametric diagrams) and its application in Cameo. - Proficient in creating and managing model libraries, profiles, and extensions in Cameo. - Experience in model transformation, validation, and verification (e.g., OCL, Model Based Test Generation). - Ability to integrate Cameo models with downstream tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS, PLM, CI/CD pipelines). - Familiarity with model version control systems (Git, Subversion) and collaborative modeling workflows. - Knowledge of industry standards such as INCOSE MBSE Guide, OMG SysML, ARP 4761, DO 178C/DO 254 (as applicable). - Understanding of configuration management, verification & validation (V&V) processes, and CMMI/ISO quality frameworks. - Capability to obtain or maintain necessary security clearances for classified or sensitive projects (e.g., DoD, ITAR).

Responsibilities

- Oversee the comprehensive Software engineering activities associated with the F35 Pilot Training Devices program. - Act as the representative for the Lead Software Engineer regarding Software Engineering tasks. - Ensure adherence to the defined Software Engineering processes/procedures and necessary process assets. - Address staffing, resource, and infrastructure requirements for Software Engineering functions. - Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance related to Software Engineering at the product level. - Guide the development of Software Engineering multi-functional resource/schedule estimates. - Lead the creation of Software Architecture for the program. - Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the Software Engineering discipline and adopt 1LMX methodologies and practices.
