Requirements
Must:
- Must possess an Active SECRET Clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience with Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) for real-time embedded systems
- Proficient in C/C++ (version 11 or higher)
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environments
- Experience collaborating in cross-discipline and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with hardware and software integration
- Hands-on experience in real-time software development, particularly with hardware testing, embedded systems, or simulation systems
- Ability to work on-site in Dallas and support lab integrations
- Preferred: Masters degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred: Experience in Ada programming
- Preferred: Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Preferred: Familiarity with Git, GitLab, and JIRA
- Preferred: Agile methodology experience (such as Scrum)
- Preferred: Experience in integrating closed-loop systems
- Preferred: Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and unit testing
- Preferred: Experience in low-level software development and device drivers
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software solutions for real-time embedded systems, including hardware in the loop (HWIL) environments
- Create embedded software using C/C++ (version 11 or higher)
- Incorporate algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Organize, conduct, and coordinate software development tasks
- Design, document, test, and debug software solutions addressing logical and mathematical business/mission challenges
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software to develop business/mission application software
- Troubleshoot program errors, prepare operating instructions, and compile program development documentation
- Analyze system capabilities to clarify program intent, output needs, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
