Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university in a relevant field, or equivalent experience combined with education, along with 5 years of professional expertise.
- Must possess an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to qualify for this role.
- Experience in full life cycle software development of Java applications within a Unix/Linux environment.
- Proven track record in developing software in a structured, process-oriented integrated team atmosphere.
- Proficiency in utilizing configuration management tools for software development (e.g. Git/GitLab, etc.).
- Familiarity with standard system engineering design artifacts such as system requirements, use cases, and SysML diagrams.
- Security+ or a comparable certification may be required within 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Design and create new Java applications while maintaining existing ones.
- Assist with software testing and troubleshoot issues from various baselines.
- Produce software design documents and take part in design and code assessments.
