Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited institution; or equivalent experience of at least 5 years
- Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming
- Familiarity with Linux or Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and their development environments
- Experience in collaborative software development processes (including peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, and defect tracking)
- Previous experience mentoring and training junior engineers
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle across diverse avionics services, ground station software, and mission system technologies
- Assist in the development of ground station systems for both manned and unmanned platforms
- Create simulations to facilitate software development
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers to establish requirements for rapid prototypes
- Participate in integration and testing activities
- Contribute to planning and scheduling of vital integration and milestone events
