Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 9 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with 7 years of experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in embedded software systems engineering and full-life-cycle development.
- Expertise in hardware-software integration and software architecture/design.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (4-6 times per year).
- Effective communication skills with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in multiple programming languages (C/C++, Python, C#) and software architecture patterns.
- Strong background in Agile Scrum, preferably with certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
- Familiar with MBSE, SysML/UML, and relevant modeling tools (such as Cameo, Rhapsody).
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, along with knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with DO-178C compliance and safety-critical development for embedded systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of software for Mission Systems with minimal supervision.
- Define technical objectives and oversee major program execution.
- Act as the primary technical liaison for contracts and projects.
- Shape product-line roadmaps and establish reusable component libraries.
- Integrate hardware and software within test environments to assess system performance.
- Propel DevSecOps initiatives across distributed teams to ensure secure and efficient delivery pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership for multifaceted software projects across multiple sites.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical solutions with mission needs.
