Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in conducting Material Review Board (MRB), stress analysis, and fatigue/durability analysis
- Familiarity with engineering drawing practices, material properties, and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) techniques and equipment
- Strong technical writing skills
- Proven experience with airframe drawings, structural load paths, fracture mechanics methods, and aircraft maintenance requirements
Responsibilities
- Conduct Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) analysis using fracture mechanics methodologies
- Perform detailed aircraft primary and secondary structure and systems analysis for part sizing and strength assessment
- Utilize crack initiation and growth tools for design sizing, MRB activities, and analysis documentation
- Generate force management source data to oversee airframe safety and operational capabilities
- Develop and implement Force Structural Maintenance Plans (FSMPs) and Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) for force management initiatives
