Requirements
Must:
- Experience in Systems Engineering processes related to Systems Integration functions such as:
- System trade studies and/or System modeling
- Development of Requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICD)
- System Integration, Testing, and/or Verification
- Test planning and execution, with an understanding of interdependencies
- Conducting Design reviews
- Experience in developing, integrating, and testing software and/or firmware
- Background in analyzing compatibility of hardware/software products
- Familiarity with Command and Telemetry Databases
- Ability to secure a Top Security clearance and possibly obtain an SCI, necessitating U.S. Citizenship
- Capacity to assimilate extensive technical details and devise solutions efficiently
- Experience managing data thread integrity across systems
- Understanding of latency and timing budgets
- Proficiency in integrating system interfaces with varying protocol standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with hardware and software developers to meet mission requirements
- Experience with SysML and Cameo
- Aptitude for driving results within teams without direct authority
- Ability to function dynamically and fulfill multiple roles in daily operations
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven ability as a systems thinker and applying suitable skills to solve complex challenges
- Experience in system design and testing within one or more subsystems or related fields
- Skill in troubleshooting and resolving issues in testbeds or units under test
- Active or Current TS/SCI with T5 investigation
Responsibilities
- Integrate Space Flight Hardware and software from component level to system integration and testing
- Conduct Hardware/Software interface compatibility studies
- Perform system analysis including resource utilization, throughput, and response time
- Lead studies and system trade analyses to enhance capabilities
- Oversee Hardware/Software integration risk reduction planning and testing execution
- Develop strategies for onboarding new mission capabilities while safeguarding primary missions
- Direct software-based testing and hardware-in-the-loop system test planning
- Coordinate design reviews and technical product evaluations
- Lead investigations into failures and manage anomaly resolution boards
