Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions
- Familiarity with system trade studies or system modeling
- Knowledge of Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
- Experience with System Integration, Test, or Verification
- Competence in test planning and execution, along with an understanding of interdependencies
- Involvement in design reviews
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical or Systems Engineering or a related field
- Background in spacecraft or missile design, development, integration, or testing
- Understanding of telemetry systems, flight operations, or electrical design
- Strong systems thinking skills and behaviors
- Experience with subsystem design and testing in areas outside of Systems Engineering
- Capacity to process extensive technical details and formulate solutions under tight deadlines
- Experience ensuring compatibility of hardware products throughout the program lifecycle
- Ability to collaborate with Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) and designers to meet mission requirements
- History of sound judgment and program execution to balance technical requirements, schedules, and budget
- Flexibility to operate in a dynamic environment and manage multiple roles within daily operations
- Capability to coordinate resolutions to issues across various work locations and organizational structures
- Active Secret or Top Secret DoD security clearance
Responsibilities
- Serve as a critical interface among requirements, design, subsystem engineering, system engineering, and production teams
- Conduct independent reviews and cross-program coordination to ensure compatibility of electrical and data subsystem designs
- Assist with missile testing activities at component manufacturers and Strategic Weapons Facilities
- Lead investigations into anomalies and drive them to resolution
- Review data and provide constructive feedback to test and integration teams
