Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in systems engineering, with a focus on requirements generation, concept development, and analysis
- Experience leading technical teams and overseeing projects in a complex engineering setting
- Proficient in engaging with technical stakeholders and managing documentation and baselines
- Capable of preparing and delivering technical briefings and engineering products effectively
- Strong project management skills, including task monitoring, scheduling, scope management, and cost oversight
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various skill sets in a fast-paced environment
- Technical expertise in numerical modeling and simulation, as well as familiarity with high-level programming languages like MATLAB, Python, or similar
- Knowledge of missile defense systems and subsystems, including EO/IR sensors, RF/Radar sensors, and command and control systems
- Ability to articulately communicate technical concepts and document them through papers and presentations
Responsibilities
- Analyze and benchmark performance using medium-level fidelity and physics-based simulations for missile defense systems
- Develop requirements for integrated multi-phenomenology sensors and weapon systems
- Conduct analysis to inform requirements product development and potentially represent the Systems Engineering and Integration Team to stakeholders
- Collaborate with team Subject Matter Experts to ensure accuracy and quality in performance requirements and analysis
- Facilitate the expansion of Model Based Systems Engineering capabilities to enhance analytical modeling
- Support planning and the development of tools for analysis
- Engage in reviews and technical interchanges connected to analysis with relevant stakeholders
