Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of leadership or relevant technical experience.
- Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, LINUX, or an equivalent object-oriented programming language.
- Experience in collaborating with customers to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Project or Program Management experience leading teams of 25 or more.
- Willingness to work non-standard shifts as necessary for the program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher (desired).
- Program or Project Management experience leading internationally dispersed teams of 50 or more (desired).
- Familiarity with Radar systems, subsystems, and designs, along with knowledge of radar physics and modeling tools (desired).
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (desired).
- Experience in risk management for large programs (desired).
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities (desired).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (desired).
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for site installations and integration testing (desired).
- Flexibility to work non-standard shifts, including evenings, nights, or weekends, if required (desired).
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced technologies and scientific principles to develop innovative radar solutions.
- Conduct functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definitions to convert customer specifications into radar system software requirements.
- Create models and detailed simulations to evaluate system performance.
- Perform system verification and assist in certification processes.
- Act as a representative for the organization on contracts, interfacing with internal and external clients, government lab partners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams about significant technical issues.
- Provide expertise and direction for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline activities and tooling.
- Automate recurring tasks utilizing scripting languages.
- Mentor early career engineers in the systems engineering practices necessary for product delivery to stakeholders and clients alike.
