Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or a related STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- High proficiency in C++ or a comparable object-oriented programming language, along with Matlab and various scripting languages.
- Proven experience in two or more of the following areas: systems engineering, software/system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling, simulation, or integration and testing.
- Experience collaborating with customers to resolve intricate technical issues.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level; U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills in linear algebra, statistical analysis, and signal processing.
- Functional understanding of radar systems, subsystems, and designs, with experience using radar modeling design tools.
- Experience in radar systems development, including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling/simulation.
- Technical leadership experience in program execution.
- Demonstrated analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving competencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts to create innovative radar solutions.
- Conduct functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to convert customer needs into radar system software specifications.
- Develop models and detailed simulations to evaluate system performance.
- Perform system verification and assist in certification activities.
- Act as a representative for the organization on contracts and engage with internal/external customers, government laboratory partners, program leaders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical issues.
- Provide support for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, offering tooling expertise and direction.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages.
- Mentor early-career engineers in the systems engineering duties essential for delivering products to stakeholders and customers.
