Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, or equivalent experience combined with education
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience or 3 years with a related Masters degree
- Proficiency in developing system software requirements
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret-level security clearance
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), preferably CAMEO
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of system design, requirements definition, and documentation processes
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Understanding of aviation mission systems, including avionics and sensors
- Background in user interface design and human-computer interaction
Responsibilities
- Execute systems engineering tasks for mission systems programs
- Formulate system, software, and subsystem requirements
- Define both external and internal interfaces
- Create and review algorithms
- Establish a traceability matrix for subsystem requirements
- Allocate requirements among various engineering disciplines
- Develop technical solutions for intricate issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams regarding software and hardware interfaces
- Assist with documentation, error resolution, and performance validation
- Design test plans, procedures, and reports
- Conduct integration, verification, and validation testing
