Requirements
Must:
- Active Final secret clearance is mandatory
- Extensive knowledge of IT system engineering in virtual and physical environments
- Proficient in Windows operating systems with understanding of RHEL systems
- Demonstrated capacity to install, secure, and troubleshoot both RHEL and Windows environments
- Skilled in automation and scripting using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Expertise in Active Directory, specifically ADUC and Group Policies
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions such as SAN and NAS
- Understanding of networking principles
- Experience in patch management using WS PDQ deployment
Responsibilities
- Provide support in a Kanban environment for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of diverse IT systems, including networking equipment
- Engage in hands-on IT engineering, continually seeking ways to enhance efficiencies
- Oversee IT system operations, conduct monitoring, and resolve issues for all client/server/storage/network devices
- Focus on Windows environments while also supporting RHEL systems as necessary
- Collaborate with security personnel to patch and secure both Windows and Linux systems to guard against cyber threats
