Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in systems engineering or a closely-related engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with requirements definition, tracking, and verification processes.
- Experience with digital engineering or model-based systems engineering methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or similar digital engineering platforms.
- Understanding of Agile SAFe practices, including Confluence, JIRA, etc.
- Background in developing complex processes, procedures, and formal technical documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines for deriving and refining requirements.
- Experience in system architecture development or knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
- Previous experience working with vendors and subcontractors to oversee contracted work.
- Integration and test experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive systems engineering activities within a model-based framework.
- Develop, decompose, track, and validate requirements while conducting risk assessments and trade studies.
- Create supplier specifications and assist in technical planning for integration and testing procedures.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams while independently managing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Clearly communicate solutions and progress reports to senior leadership while addressing issues proactively.
- Contribute to the development of innovative aircraft concepts that honor the Skunk Works tradition.
