Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in Red Hat Enterprise
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server setup, configuration, and administration
- Experience providing lab support, specifically in network/system administration
- Familiar with server and desktop management in both Linux and Windows environments
- Knowledge of package deployment, imaging, and patching
- Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Policies or NIST 800-53
- Experience in classified environments
- Must hold DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification, such as CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP
- Familiar with Active Directory and SCCM
- Experience with Aegis and other BMD systems/platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal and external customers/end-users
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Conduct network and system administration and provide support on various complex platforms related to BMD and other DoD activities
- Set up and configure new computing assets, ensuring STIG compliance and hardening measures are implemented
- Configure, fine-tune, and maintain security tools, including but not limited to Nessus, ACAS, and Splunk
- Create and manage new user accounts and configurations
- Install and configure new software on computing devices
- Perform preventive maintenance on hardware components
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to maintain compliance of computing assets
